We are fully transparent about how we make money and how it affects (or doesn't affect) our reviews.
Affiliate Relationships
Some links on StackHK are affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Our affiliate partners include tool vendors on the PartnerStack platform.
Editorial Independence
Our review scores, verdicts, and recommendations are completely unaffected by affiliate relationships. Specifically:
- All scores and verdicts are finalized before affiliate links are added
- Affiliate CTAs always appear after the review conclusion, never before
- We never accept requests to modify scores or conclusions from vendors
- We report tool limitations honestly, even for tools we have affiliate relationships with
Self-Funded Testing
We do not accept from tool vendors: free/discounted accounts, testing subsidies, advertising fees, sponsored content payments, or any benefit that could influence review integrity. Every tool subscription is paid for by StackHK.
How to Identify Affiliate Links
All affiliate links are clearly labeled with "(Affiliate)" or similar notation. We never hide or obscure our affiliate relationships.
Why Affiliate Links
StackHK is independently operated without ads or sponsorships. Affiliate commissions are our primary revenue source, funding tool subscriptions and content production. Using our affiliate links supports independent reviews at zero extra cost to you.
FTC Compliance
Although StackHK operates from Hong Kong, we follow US Federal Trade Commission guidelines on affiliate marketing and endorsements.
